THE FABRICATION PROCESS

STEP 1

Start with an empty mold. Waxed and ready to go.

STEP 2

Spray in gelcoat which gives color to the fiberglass and helps release the part.

STEP 3

Lay in fiberglass.

STEP 4

Add foam and mat reinforcements.

STEP 5

Let cure for 24 hours.

STEP 6

Looks like this when removed from the mold.

Grind the part rough edges.

STEP 8

Upholster the interior.

STEP 9

Sand the exterior to prep for paint.

STEP 10

Paint the exterior.

Install the windows and back door.

Test fit on Jeep and install all connection fittings.
